The search for UC Riverside’s next provost and executive vice chancellor has been narrowed down to three candidates.

The candidates were interviewed and provided online video presentations in late April outlining their visions for the campus. The finalists were selected by a search advisory committee working with an executive search firm.

“We were truly fortunate to have attracted three outstanding candidates to interview,” said Professor Monica Carson, chair of the biomedical sciences division, who led the search committee. “It is a testament to our campus and our UCR community.”

The committee will meet with Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox to discuss the candidates this week, she said.

Videos of the public presentations, as well as biographical summaries and curriculum vitae for the candidates, are available on the search website

The committee is in the process of conducting extensive reference checks and compiling feedback from members of the campus, who had the opportunity to take part in an online survey.

Carson said the committee will share the next steps of the process in the coming weeks.
