Several Highlanders spread some holiday cheer, volunteering at Riverside’s annual Lincoln Park holiday dinner on Friday, Nov. 21.

The event included 73 student volunteers who helped prepare food, decorate the venue, serve meals, and clean up after. The volunteers included members of campus fraternities and sororities, and the women’s soccer team. The soccer players also played soccer with kids at the dinner. The dinner served 360 free meals to community members.

UCR’s Volunteer Center hosted the Highlanders Give Back event in partnership with the City of Riverside’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services division.
