In light of the events that have occurred at UCLA, we would like to remind the UC Riverside community to review your vaccine records to confirm at least two doses of the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine.
As of April 26 at 4 p.m. there have been NO confirmed cases of measles for UCR Student Health to report. In collaboration with Riverside Public Health department, we have been continuously monitoring all cases throughout the region.
If you think you have been exposed and are experiencing symptoms that include high fever, cough, runny nose, watery red eyes, white spots in mouth, and rashes over the body consider staying home, drinking plenty of fluids, and taking a fever-reducing medication.
Contact your personal primary care provider or review the CDC website for more information. Students with USHIP/GSHIP may contact UCR Student Health at 951-827-3031.
