The UCR Smoke/Tobacco-Free Policy Committee has updated UCR’s Smoke/Tobacco-Free policy to make it clear that smoking or vaping of tobacco and cannabis along with smokeless tobacco and all electronic smoking devices is prohibited on UC property.

The committee is asking faculty to consider class projects focused on areas that support and strengthen the policy and include it as a blurb in class syllabi.

It’s also looking at expanding it’s Clear the Air student ambassador program and working with students to develop and manage an app to track tobacco litter and hot spots on campus.
