Dear colleagues,
The current “ucrwpa” wireless network will be replaced with a new “UCR-SECURE” wireless solution on the evening of Tuesday, September 17.
When you arrive to campus on September 18, you will need to connect to the new “UCR-SECURE” wireless network on your devices. You will need to enter your UCR NetID and related password to authenticate. You may be prompted to accept the new UCR wireless certificate on some devices. This is a legitimate prompt.
Our new “UCR-SECURE” wireless network has both new hardware and software management solutions which provide us with an opportunity to continue improvements to the campus wireless service.
Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve wireless services at UCR!
