The University of California (UC) Office of the President is conducting the biennial Staff Engagement survey to learn more about policy-covered (non-represented) staff employee’s impressions of working for UC.
Engagement Survey
The survey was developed by the Council of University of California Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) in collaboration with Systemwide Human Resources’ Employee Relations department and Willis Towers Watson. During the week of May 10, a representative sample of staff members will receive an email invitation to participate in the survey. The email will be sent from Willis Towers Watson on UC’s behalf. It is not spam, please do not delete the email invitation.
Goal of the Survey
The Staff Engagement survey aims to help UC better understand the views, experiences, and needs of policy-covered staff on topics related to working at UC Riverside, which include career development, performance management and workplace collaboration. As UC’s fifth engagement survey, UC and UCR will be able to compare the results of prior surveys, and Human Resources will get insight into areas where progress has been made and areas that need further effort and focus.
Completing the Survey
Policy-covered employees selected to complete the survey will have an opportunity to provide direct feedback to help shape how employees will work at UC Riverside. The survey is entirely confidential. Individual responses and personally-identifying information submitted through the survey will not be shared with UC, it will be maintained by Willis Towers Watson and de-identified prior to making the results available to UC.
We strongly encourage selected employees to complete the survey, which closes on Friday, June 4, 2021. If you have questions about the survey, please contact: EmployeeSurveySupport@willistowerswatson.com.
For more information related to the Systemwide Engagement Survey, download the Frequently Asked Questions document. Additional information is also available on the UCnet website.
Represented Employees
Union-represented employees will not participate in the survey because UC receives their feedback through their union representatives during the collective bargaining process.
