Although UC Riverside is planning for a safe return to campus this fall, access to campus buildings and other facilities remains limited for now and should be arranged in advance.
Under approved worksite specific plans, a limited number of employees are working on campus, with a phased ramp-up of on-campus research activities. Remote work remains the default mode of operation unless otherwise authorized or until further notice.
Employees and students who are approved to work on campus or must return briefly to retrieve material needed to work remotely must contact their supervisor to secure access to their office if needed. On-campus work or visits must be approved by department heads/chairs in advance.
The UC Riverside Police Department should not be called for access needs and will not respond to such calls due to other vital duties.
All campus community members – including students, staff, and faculty – must adhere to public health and safety guidelines, including face coverings and social distancing when on campus.
