I am pleased to announce the appointment of Monique Dozier as UC Riverside’s next Vice Chancellor for University Advancement, subject to approval by UC President Michael Drake. Dozier’s appointment at UCR will begin on August 1, 2022.
Dozier is Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. In her role as chief advancement officer, Dozier recently led Morehouse to the most successful fundraising years in its more than 150-year history.
Previously, Dozier spent 13 years at Michigan State University in multiple advancement roles including Assistant Vice President for Advancement Information Systems and Donor Strategy and Director of Development and External Relations in the College of Nursing.
A national advancement leader, Dozier’s more than two decades of higher education advancement experience includes roles at DePaul University and Saint Mary’s College in Indiana. She serves on the board of trustees for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and on the Salesforce Advancement Advisory Board.
Dozier attended Bethel University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems management.
