A limited number of discounted tickets are available for UC Riverside faculty and staff to UCR Honors: A Gala Celebration, taking place on April 6 at 6 p.m. at the SRC Arena. 

The first-of-its-kind gala event will benefit student support initiatives at UCR and will recognize several alumni, donors, and friends. Faculty and staff looking to purchase the discounted tickets should do so via this special link, which is not available on the primary gala website.

Cheech Marin, the popular actor, cultural icon, and arts advocate, will receive the UCR Medallion in recognition for his contributions that led to the creation of The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture in downtown Riverside. 

The discounted employee tickets for the black-tie event are $150 and will include a cocktail reception, formal dinner, and awards program.
