Updated IT Request Process

UCR Information Technology Solutions (ITS) has made an update to the way IT project requests are managed. Starting December 18, 2024, all IT project requests will be processed through UCR’s Workfront platform.

A few things to note about this update:

●    Your access remains the same. You will continue to navigate to the IT project request form through the ITS website (its.ucr.edu) or IT service portal. 

●    The look and feel is different. Upon selecting the option to submit an IT project request, you will be routed to Workfront (ucr.my.workfront.com). As with other secure UCR services, you may be asked to enter your UCR NetID credentials. Workfront will be used to submit, track, and view your IT project requests.

●    You will receive email notifications from Workfront. For transparency and ease of access, you will be notified of any activity related to your request via email. 

●    The process for submitting IT support tickets and other service requests has not changed. Please continue to navigate to its.ucr.edu to access services and support resources. 

Please note that existing requests are still being actively managed by the ITS Portfolio Management Office and do not need to be resubmitted in the new system. If you have questions or need assistance, please visit its.ucr.edu/help or call 951-827-4848 during normal business hours.
