On Saturday, September 27th, the Associated Students Program Board (ASPB) will host UCR’s annual welcome back concert, Block Party, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We want to inform you of potential amplified sound and limited access to the inner campus during the event. Our team has submitted an amplified sound exemption form request, which was approved - effective between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Please note that beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the event, the center of campus will be fenced off, and access to inner campus areas will be restricted. Students, faculty, and staff will need to use alternate walking routes, which will be clearly marked with signage. A map of these routes is included below for your reference.
Event setup will begin with stage installation on Wednesday, September 24th, followed by fencing on Friday, September 26th. Access to campus buildings will remain open until Saturday, September 27th.
We appreciate your patience and support as we create meaningful student experiences that strengthen their connection to UCR. For more event information, please visit our Instagram @aspb_ucr.
