I am pleased to announce the launch of a nationwide search for the position of Associate Vice Chancellor for Financial Planning & Analysis (AVC, FP&A).
In this newly created role, the AVC will serve as a key strategic advisor to the Chancellor, Provost, and senior leadership, while reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will provide enterprise-wide leadership across financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, capital and cash planning, and executive decision support.
The position was officially posted to the UCR Jobs Board on Monday, September 21. The priority consideration deadline is October 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. However, the position will remain open until filled.
We anticipate hosting finalist campus visits in late November and early December. These visits will include opportunities for the broader campus community to engage with the candidates.
