Dear Campus Colleagues,

The Office of Gift Planning is excited to announce the launch of a new gift planning marketing program. The purpose of this effort is to identify new planned giving opportunities that will ultimately “impact the future” at UCR. The centerpiece of the program is planmygift.ucr.edu, a new website designed to engage our donors’ interest in making estate gifts. This site will be a valuable tool for the qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors during the home stretch of the Living the Promise Campaign, and beyond.

A new quarterly e-newsletter will highlight planned giving opportunities and happenings around campus, as well as provide resources that encourage donors to consider a planned gift as part of their philanthropic goals.

Finally, various print pieces have been created to help educate our constituents on their planned giving options. These include a Wills Kit (a comprehensive guide to creating an estate plan), a comprehensive Planned Giving brochure, individual guides highlighting each planned gift option, and a Watkins Society brochure highlighting UCR’s esteemed planned giving society.
