Campus students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the third open forum on the new Long Range Development Plan (LRDP), led by VC Gerry Bomotti.

This session will provide an overview of the proposed land use plan, and an update on upcoming milestones.

The LRDP looks broadly at campus growth options and associated environmental impacts, as required by the State of California. It is related to, but different from the recently launched Strategic Plan Update.

The campus' current LRDP, developed in 2005 and last updated in 2010, bases its assumptions on a projected maximum enrollment of 25,000 students. At 24,000 students in Fall 2018, UCR is quickly approaching this important enrollment milestone. Consequently, the campus is now working toward updating the plan to reflect a new vision for the physical development necessary to support continued future growth.

Please join us to hear the latest LRDP information, ask questions and engage with the LRDP Team on this significant campus planning effort!
