Data Privacy Day is on January 28 of each year. This date commemorates the January 28, 1981 signing of Convention 108, the first legally binding international treaty dealing with privacy and data protection. The purpose of Data Privacy Day is to create awareness about respecting privacy, safeguarding data, and enabling trust.
