Heat Illness Prevention Month: Heat Stress

Heat Stress is a serious type of Heat Illness. Heat Illness can affect us all, however you might be at higher risk if you:

  • Work in a high heat environment
  • Work outdoors
  • Are 65 years or older
  • Are overweight
  • Have cardiovascular disease
  • Have high blood pressure
  • Take certain medications
