June is National Safety Month: Safe At Work
As we begin returning to campus, it’s important to take time and learn how you can protect yourself and others. The safety challenges of working during the COVID-19 pandemic will change the way we need to work and interact bringing about some new safety concerns that will need to be managed. June is National Safety Month and we encourage everyone to take the National Safety Council’s Safe At Work Pledge and commit to keeping the UCR community safe every day.
EH&S has resources to help everyone stay Safe At Work including online training, videos, Spotlight on Safety guides, and experts to assist you. Contact EH&S if you have questions, need training, or need help identifying and managing hazards in your work area. Once you have committed to stay Safe At Work, start by completing the UC Safety Orientation eLearning course available in the UCR Learning Center. Learning or refreshing on the basics is a good way to start the return to campus. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and we are here to support the UCR community as we navigate a safe return to campus.
