National Safety Month: Ergonomics

Our work environment may look different this June than it did last year.  Working from home, has advantages but can also be quite challenging. Finding a spot in the house to work away from the family of roommates may have you hiding in a closet or working on the patio. Wherever you have found a productive place to be make sure you are not slowly causing muscle injuries. Small changes to the setup of your home workstation can have lasting health advantages. We have gathered some resources to help make sure you can work safely from anywhere.

Ergonomics is the science of designing a safe and efficient job environment to work in, wherever that environment might be. UCR has a variety of different work areas, so find a resource that fits the way you work:
