Need vehicles for emission testing research

The College of Engineering - Center for Environmental Research and Technology is looking for gasoline vehicles for an emissions testing program at CE-CERT’s state-of-the-art Light-Duty Lab. The candidate vehicles are shown below:

 

  • 2018 Honda Fit (1.5L displacement, direct fuel injection-DFI)

  • 2018 Jeep Cherokee (2.4L displacement, sequential fuel injection-SFI)

  • 2017 Mazda 3 (2.0L displacement, direct fuel injection-DFI)

  • 2016 Toyota Prius (1.8L displacement, sequential fuel injection-SFI)

  • 2017 Ford F150 Pickup (3.5L displacement, direct fuel injection-DFI/ sequential fuel injection-SFI)

  • 2017 Chevrolet Spark (1.4L displacement, sequential fuel injection-SFI)

  • 2016 Nissan Rogue (2.5L displacement, sequential fuel injection-SFI)

  • 2018 Chevrolet Malibu (1.5L displacement, direct fuel injection-DFI)

 

Preference will be given to well-maintained vehicles (with 18,000 miles travelled at a minimum). The owner will be paid $350 per week during testing. The test program is conducted indoors at CE-CERT's Light-Duty Lab and it will last approximately 3 weeks for some vehicles or more for others. We will not modify the vehicles.
