Earth Week is a time to reflect on our relationship with the planet and take meaningful action to reduce our impact on the environment. One small but impactful way we can take action is to Carry Our Own Cups and Bottles.
The convenience of single-use drink containers comes at a great cost to the environment. These items take hundreds of years to break down and often end up in landfills, oceans, and other natural habitats. Not only do they harm wildlife and pollute our waterways, but the production of these items also contributes to greenhouse gas emissions and depletes natural resources.
By carrying our own cups and bottles, we can significantly reduce our waste and carbon footprint. The Healthy Campus initiative helped to install dozens of water filling stations across the campus, so bringing your own reusable container not only helps the environment, but we're also saving money and staying hydrated.
We pledge to Carry Our Own Cups and Bottles this Earth Day (and every day!). With one simple but powerful step towards sustainability, we can inspire others to do the same and create a ripple effect that leads to real change. Let's make Earth Week a time to commit to this small but impactful action and make a difference for the planet.
Will you join us? Take the pledge today!
