Have you ever wanted to learn to play the bagpipes? The band is open to all who play or want to learn to play the Great Highland Bagpipes or Scottish-style drumming.
It is not a requirement to be a student or staff of UCR. The band supports on-campus UCR events, the UCR Alumni Association, the UCR Athletic Association, and numerous off-campus, community-based entities/events.
It costs a nominal amount to get started (practice chanter or drum sticks). Classes run 2-3 times per year. Please contact us with any questions or your interest in joining.
Practice: Wednesdays 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Lot 44 on campus
