Hello Highlander Staff and Faculty! 

Residential Education’s First-Generation Initiatives Committee is hosting our 3rd annual First-Generation Summit - Summit to the Top with Us November 8th, 2024 from 9am-4pm. It is a conference-style event for our First-Generation students living on campus. This event is intended to encourage themes of Self-Authorship within and to provide helpful information/resources for our 1st-gen students to succeed in their college journey. 

The First-Generation Initiatives Committee wanted to tap into all the wonderful knowledge and community we have on the UCR campus and is asking any interested departments, staff, or faculty to present on a topic that you think would benefit our students! You can submit a presentation proposal HERE by 11:59PM on Monday, October 28. We’re excited to host our 3rd Summit and hope you all can assist in making it successful!
