UC Riverside was named among the top 25 public universities in the Best Value Colleges for 2022 ranking by The Princeton Review.
The campus was among 209 institutions included in an unranked list of more than 650 colleges and universities surveyed. The list ranked return on investment for students based on academics, affordability, and career preparation.
The Princeton Review also included seven categories in which it ranked institutions. UCR was No. 23 among the top 50 best value public colleges, No. 11 for top 20 public schools for financial aid, and No. 20 for the top 20 public schools for making an impact.
"The schools we chose as our Best Value Colleges for 2022 are a select group: they comprise only about 7% of the nation’s four-year undergraduate institutions,” said Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review. “We commend their administrators, faculties, staff, and alumni for all they are doing to educate their students and guide them to success in their careers. These colleges are also exceptional for the generous amount of financial aid they award to students with need and/or for their comparatively low cost of attendance.”
