UC Riverside will hold its fourth annual Give Day on April 7 and 8 with more than 100 projects that donors can support – the largest number to date.

UCR Give Day launched in 2023 as a way for donors to support students, research, and campus programs while focusing solely on UCR. Last year’s campaign raised around $886,000.

This year, there are 112 participating project pages funding a variety of programs, scholarships, and department needs.

Give Day will begin at noon April 7 and run for 24 hours until noon on April 8.

This year’s campaign includes over 20 challenges that will unlock more than $50,000 in funding including a pledge of $12,500 from SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union if 425 faculty and staff members donate any amount.

The campus will have opportunities to participate even earlier. On April 1, starting at 10 a.m., the Student Alumni Association and the Office of Annual Giving will pass out free Give Day shirts near the Bell Tower.

UCR community members can sign up to be Give Day advocates on the Give Day website. When signing up each person will receive a special link to share with their friends and family to encourage them to make a gift. The two advocates who bring in the most donors will get to allocate $1,000 to the Give Day page of their choice.

On April 7, 7 Leaves Café at University Village will hold a fundraiser, donating 20% of purchases to Give Day when customers show a voucher
