UCR Colleagues:

Local and national media have reported widely on a shortage of critical supplies and equipment that health care providers and first responders require during the COVID-19 emergency. UC Riverside is asking all relevant researchers and facilities to help reduce this shortage by making specific unused equipment and materials available to UCR Health and Student Health Services.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT is critically important, specifically:

•    N-95 and surgical masks,

•    surgical and isolation/protective gowns,

•    arm sleeves,

•    goggles,

•    eye shields

•    face shields

•    gloves

UCR Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) has been designated as the single authorized collection and distribution point for the campus. EH&S is working in partnership with UCR Health (School of Medicine clinic functions) and Student Health Services to  determine priorities for allocation.

To provide supplies, contact Environmental Health and Safety at ehspublichealth@ucr.edu to request pick-up from your location. Please note supply type and quantity, as well as location, in your email.

Thanks to those who have already donated and to others in advance for making your contributions as soon as possible as we all pull together in response to the current crisis.
