I am very pleased to announce that Robert Holden will serve as UCR’s next Associate Vice Chancellor of Auxiliary Services. His start date is August 17th.
Robert has a deep commitment to education having served in various positions in both higher education and K-12 for the past 36 years, most recently at University of Georgia (UGA) as Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services. Born and raised in Alaska, Robert received his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Alaska Southeast and a B.A. in Justice from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Robert’s family has four generations of graduates from the University of Alaska, including both his children.
Robert has also held leadership positions in the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) and the National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS). I am confident that Robert will make a positive impact at UCR and I am excited to welcome him to our team.
Associate Vice Chancellor of Auxiliary Services Andy Plumley retired on June 30th after 42 years of dedicated service to UCR. We thank Andy for his service and wish him the best in his retirement.
