Dear Campus Community, 

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Heidi M. Scribner as UCR’s next Associate Vice Chancellor for Auxiliary Services. Ms. Scribner’s appointment will begin on July 1st, 2021.

Heidi spent the past six years at UC Berkeley and since 2017 served as Executive Director for Housing, Events, and Facilities Services. She has developed an unparalleled track record of strategic achievement in roles such as Director of Facilities and Housing Services and Interim Chief Operating Officer, providing leadership for a complex revenue-generating portfolio and evaluated new revenue generation and collaboration opportunities across campus to strategically support divisional student-facing services. 

As a member of the Student Affairs Cabinet and Residential & Student Service Programs (RSSP) Executive Leadership team, she provided high-level senior leadership as UC Berkeley reconfigured the Housing unit and implemented new services, processes, and multiple upgrades to the housing assignments program. Previous to UC Berkeley, Heidi served as Associate Director of Housing Services at the University of Southern California and Area Director of Housing and Residential Life at Southern Methodist University.

Heidi attended Framingham State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication. She then went on to attend Northeastern University, where she attained her Master of Education degree in College Student Personnel/Counseling. 

I look forward to welcoming Heidi to UC Riverside and working collaboratively with her to achieve our goals.
