Housing Services has scheduled move-in weekend for Sept. 16 to 18. As with the past two years, COVID-19 health and safety protocols will be in place. Students must be up to date on their COVID vaccinations and boosters and must test negative prior to their arrival.
Students will be pre-assigned check-in times for their move-in with arrivals staggered by location and day mitigate wait times and campus traffic. Up to two guests may accompany students and all must wear face coverings while indoors at campus locations.
We expect approximately 4,500 students and guests on campus Friday, approximately 5,700 on Saturday, and 7,200+ on Sunday. Check-in, key distribution and COVID testing will all take place in Lot 30 again this year. Families will then travel to their newly-assigned “homes” on campus. 8,500+ students will live with us on campus this Fall!
For those visiting campus this weekend, the Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. exit on the 60 freeway, West Campus Drive through both Canyon Crest Drive and Big Springs Road will be highly impacted starting Friday.
