UC Riverside is revising its Timely Warning Policy. This policy complies with and helps implement the systemwide Clery Policy that President Drake approved effective August 2023. The proposed revisions are shared with the campus community for review and comment until September 20th.

The policy was revised to (A) update and conform definitions to the UC Clery Act Policy, (B) update the list of Timely Warning Designees, (C) clarify and improve the procedures, (D) describe emergency notifications and other safety communications, and (D) re-format to align with UCR's standard policy format.

The proposed revised policy is available online for review. Please submit comments, questions and suggestions to policy@ucr.edu by September 20, 2023. The current Timely Warning Policy is available on our Clery Act Compliance website.
