In compliance with the Clery Act (the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act), the University of California, Riverside has published the 2023 Annual Security & Fire Safety Report. The report provides crime and other safety-related information to members of the campus community. This report contains three years’ worth of crime statistics (2020-2022), as well as statements regarding certain campus policies and procedures, including policies regarding sexual and gender-based violence. This report also includes fire safety policies and procedures and fire statistics for on-campus housing facilities from the previous three years, in compliance with the Clery Act and the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA).
In addition, Section IX of the report contains important information on UC Riverside Policy and Prevention Program on Alcohol and Drugs. In accordance with the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, Section IX serves as the required annual notification to all employees and students about alcohol and other drug abuse prevention programs at UCR.
