Dear Faculty and Staff Colleagues,

 I write to update you on the status of our search for the next Dean of the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. 

Currently, we are finalizing the appointment of an executive search firm, Isaacson, Miller, to assist with the process of building an excellent pool of candidates. Shortly thereafter, we will meet with Academic Senate representatives to begin the search committee appointment process. Our goal is to begin recruiting candidates for the deanship over the summer and to complete the search by the end of the calendar year. 

Consistent with past searches, campus stakeholders will have opportunities to participate in both developing the job description (spring quarter) and interviewing candidates (fall quarter). Robust participation in this search will be critical to its success, so please watch your inbox for opportunities to get involved.
