The California Native American Heritage Commission is seeking interested UC faculty, staff, or graduate students interested in serving on one of the campus Native American Grave Protection and Repatriation (NAGPRA) Implementation Committees that oversee the efforts on the campuses to implement federal and state NAGPRA laws as well as UC policy regarding repatriation. Five of the campus NAGPRA committees, including UCR’s, have a vacancy, and there are a number of vacancies on the statewide UC NAGPRA Committee.
