Services requiring NetID login briefly unavailable this weekend

Information Technology Solutions (ITS) is performing a "behind-the-scenes" upgrade to UC Riverside’s digital “front door.” To maintain high security standards and ensure our multi-factor authentication (Duo) remains reliable, we are upgrading the Central Authentication Service (CAS) to a newer version. 

Please plan to be unable to access most campus services during the maintenance period, which will commence at 10 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, and conclude at 3 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2026. 

If you are logged into a UCR service during the change, you will be logged out and must log back in to continue working. Please note that this process may require you to refresh your session by clearing your browser cache. 

After the upgrade, you will see a new, brief progress bar during the multi-factor authentication (Duo) redirection process.
