Albert Wang Elected National Academy of Inventors Fellow

Albert Wang, a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Marlan and Rosemary Bourns College of Engineering at UC Riverside, has been elected to the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) for his patents on design-for-reliability for integrated circuits and systems that have been widely used by the industry. Wang is also an IEEE Fellow and AAAS Fellow.

 

Election to NAI Fellow status is the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors who have demonstrated a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.

 

Wang Joined UC Riverside in 2007. He is Director for the Center for Ubiquitous Communication by Light (UC-Light), a University of California system-wide research center. He was President of IEEE Electron Devices Society.
