The UCR-led Civic Engagement Research Group, led by Professor Joseph Kahne, will receive $600,000 in grants for its Civic Impact Project, which aims to improve education in civics in the United States and strengthen democracy.

This achievement was made possible with the support of the chapter’s advisors, David Pion-Berlin and Donna Perez.
