UCR Healthy Campus (HC), part of the systemwide Healthy Campus Network supported by President Janet Napolitano, is taking an integrated and comprehensive approach to elevate health and well-being at UCR. The initiative invests in improving the health and quality of life for our UCR campus community. UCR HC is providing an opportunity for the UCR campus community to contribute and support projects related to HC. The HC seeks to fund creative, high quality, replicable and sustainable projects that make UCR a healthier campus community. UCR’s HC’s priorities include:
- Healthy Eating/Nutrition
- Physical Activity
- Mental Health
- Built Environment
- ubstance Use and Addiction
- Preventive Health
- Culture Change
- Communications/Marketing
- Metrics/Quality Improvement
UCR HC is providing an opportunity for the UCR students, staff, and faculty to develop projects related to HC priority areas. A total of 6 - 10 grants in the amount range of $1,000 - $2,000 will be awarded.
