GlobalProtect, UC Riverside’s virtual private network (VPN) service, is scheduled to be upgraded on the evening of Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Campus users who receive a prompt from GlobalProtect to update their client to the latest version are asked to accept the prompt.

The update is an important step towards enhancing campus security.
