Effective February 17, 2025, Duo Mobile will no longer support iOS 15. After the update, iOS 16 will be the minimum supported version for Duo Mobile.
This means that mobile devices using iOS 15 or older will no longer receive Duo Mobile maintenance fixes or security updates. Users will also no longer be able to download the latest version of Duo Mobile on mobile devices running on iOS 15 or older. However, this does not affect mobile app authentications for users who have already downloaded the app. Duo Push will continue to work on already-installed versions of Duo Mobile on iOS 15, and users will continue to be able to authenticate.
ITS strongly encourages users to upgrade to the latest operating system (OS) of their mobile device to ensure uninterrupted usage of the Duo Mobile application for authentication, and importantly, to continue receiving security updates and improvements for their device.
