Please be advised that the campus wireless network will be updated on November 7, 2026, requiring users to reconnect and accept the new security certificate to maintain network access. This is part of a series of network infrastructure improvements that Information Technology Solutions (ITS) is making to enhance the security, resilience, and reliability of our IT infrastructure.
All users of the UCR-SECURE and EDUROAM WiFi networks will need to take specific steps to maintain access:
Steps to Maintain Network Connectivity
- Forget the UCR-SECURE or EDUROAM WiFi network.
- Follow the instructions for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
- Follow the instructions for Windows 10 and 11.
- Reconnect to the UCR-SECURE WiFi network or the EDUROAM WiFi network (read the linked IT knowledge articles to learn how).
- Accept the new wireless security certificate.
- Note: If you are met with a Security Certificate pop-up when reconnecting to the UCR-SECURE or EDUROAM WiFi network from November 7 onwards, please select “Connect” or “Trust” to accept the new wireless security certificate.
