Face Covering Guidelines

Governor Newsom recently announced that the statewide indoor masking mandate will expire on Feb. 15. UCR’s guidelines for face coverings, which included indoor masking requirements, were first announced in July 2021. As a result UCR’s guidelines will not change once the state mandate expires. Students, employees, and visitors should continue to follow all current face covering guidelines when at UCR-owned or operated facilities.

Booster Deadline

Eligible employees should submit their proof of having obtained the COVID-19 booster by Feb. 25 through the MyChart system to remain in compliance with the UC vaccination policy. If they haven't done so already eligible students should submit proof of completion through the patient portal.

Information on who is eligible for a booster can be found here
