After a rainy winter, spring has arrived and plants are blooming at the UC Riverside Botanic Gardens.
Visitors can enjoy sights like a tree peony flower, California poppies, and turtles perching on logs in a creek. The South Africa Garden is full of color with aloes and ice plants while across the trail blooming lilacs have a strong scent. The North Coast area features Ceanothus and redbuds in full bloom while the Rose Gardens are starting to explode with color.
Visitors can find out more at the What’s in Bloom page.
