UCR Healthy Campus thanked its faculty, staff, and student volunteers who promote its projects and activities at a May 14 luncheon.

75 committee and subcommittee members were served a healthy lunch and received a choice of a Healthy Campus T-shirt, towel, or bag. Gerry Bomotti, vice chancellor of Planning, Budget and Administration, spoke at the luncheon.

Also on hand were Healthy Campus Co-Chairs Julie Chobdee and Ann Cheney; as well as Dr. Deborah Deas, School of Medicine dean and senior leadership sponsor, who recognized their volunteers for the hours of time they devote to activities.

“We want everyone involved to know that their contributions are valued, their partnership is essential, and creating culture change to improve health and well-being takes every member of the campus community making health a priority,” said Chobdee, Wellness Program coordinator.
