Eric Martin, a technical program manager with UC Riverside Information Technology Solutions, is among the winners in the 2025 UC Tech Awards.

The annual awards program celebrates individuals and teams within the UC system’s technology community for significant contributions to advancing the university’s mission through innovative tools and approaches.

Martin received the Golden Award in the Sustained Impact Category for his career contributions in his 23 years at UCR.

“His leadership and expertise have modernized critical operations, streamlined processes, and enhanced the university’s technological capabilities,” the awards announcement stated.

Martin was one of only two individuals and a dozen teams recognized at the awards presented June 26 at the UC Tech Conference.

Among his accomplishments cited in the nomination form were leading the technical management of the gender recognition and lived named policy; completing multiple UCPath projects; and leading equipment migrations for data center operations in 2023 that ensured a smooth transition.
