UC Riverside Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Cynthia K. Larive will hold her annual town hall meeting on March 6 where she will highlight issues including student success.
Larive said she plans to celebrate recent campus successes in research and student advising, and talk about how daily actions can positively affect the campus climate.
The town hall will also include a discussion on how the campus can align its resources to help students graduate on time. Strategies include encouraging students to take 15 units per quarter, making the most of facilities, and exploring hybrid and online courses.
“I am looking forward to the town hall as an opportunity to highlight what we do well, and to think together about where we’re going and what we value as a community,” Larive said. “As we grow, these kinds of campuswide gatherings become increasingly important, and I hope to see as many community members as possible and hear from them on these important issues.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
The meeting will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in HUB 302. For those unable to attend, a video of the meeting will be posted on the provost’s website after the event.
