UC Riverside’s east campus entrance is sporting some new colors.

Facilities Services’ landscape team planted new flowers at the beginning of the winter quarter near the monument sign at the corner of Big Springs Road and Valencia Drive.

Landscapers added yellow Iceland poppies and blue pansies to celebrate UCR colorsand add a cheerful touch to the entrance. It’s part of a regular quarterly replanting of campus entrances every quarter, said Erin Chapman, marketing and communications manager for Facilities Services.
