Congratulations to Kristyn Pellecchia, assistant professor of Family Medicine, and co-sponsor Juliet McMullin, chair of the Department of Anthropology and formerly of the School of Medicine’s Center for Healthy Communities, on the receipt of a $10,000 grant from the Gary and Mary West Foundation to advance palliative care research.

The money will be used to develop a course titled: “Developing a Humanities-Based Death and Dying Course to Address Death Anxiety in Medical Students.”
