ScotMemos is a section on the Inside UCR website where any campus organization can submit an announcement to the campus community.

Do's:

  • Include a title, an optional image (min of 300px and max of 870px wide), a message with a suggested length of no longer than 200 words, and a contact email.
  • Check for spelling or grammatical errors before submitting.
  • Submissions should contain content of potential interest to either staff, faculty, and/or students.

Don'ts:

  • Don't submit duplicates of a message that has already been posted on the site.
  • Don't promote organizations or businesses unaffiliated with UCR.
  • Don't promote campus events on this site; they should be submitted to the UCR Events Calendar (events.ucr.edu).

Submissions are subject to moderation and approval and will be reviewed by the end of the next business day. You will be notified by email if your submission is not accepted. A curated selection of ScotMemos will be included in the weekly newsletters e-mailed to staff, faculty, and students.
